My best memories of Louisville are of the Bardstown Rd. area. Can you believe I ate at the Bristol Bar and grill, when I was a "hole in the wall" bar? The antiqueing and shops are just so much FUN! <<<<sigh>>> I gotta get back there....soon! Are you outta those shoes yet? Nothing else like it. We get their Irish tea bags (regular AND decaf!), the apple blossom dumplings that are frozen and I LOVE the eggplant/red pepper spread. I go about once a month and stock up. I love the samples and recipes too. Glad you got a dose of just what you needed. :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6489911025579199899.post-97773364898430742005-08-01T20:17:00.000-07:002005-08-01T20:17:00.000-07:00What a nice little trip! It will get better, though. You'll find things about Ft. Wayne to love. My brother burned through a lot of cars and money making weekly trips between Washington DC and Rochester, and later between Cleveland and Rochester. I hope things come together for you soon, with a good job in a place you want to be. Every morning I cross the Kennedy Bridge (I-65) to go to work, and it is very pretty in the dark with the waterfront all lit up. The Highlands is a beautiful part of town. Bardstown Road is certainly alive, even late at night! Glad you enjoyed your visit home.<br><br>Lori<br>Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
