He pass...My dad would have been 84 this year, too. He passed away in 1999. He didn't see action in the war...assigned to a desk job because he was legally blind in one eye. But he was proud of his military service. Have you noticed that, as the WWII vets disappear, the attitude of this country gets more hawkish?
