Headwaters Park, Ft. Wayne Indiana
Summer means water. Pools, lakes, the ocean. And on this bright, sunny, hot summer day, it was the water fountain the gushed its ten foot plumes of water towards the brilliant blue sky as the group of children, and one dog, danced and ran through the its rainbow of rain and fun.
I took a lot of photo's of the children playing, but I found this one the most engaging.

That sure says summer! I love the pic. Now let me play with the water hose outside.
Oh how cute! Yes, a Water Theme Park in summer...a certain must! :)
Always, Carly :)
I think many of us are using children and water as our theme for summer! This is a GREAT shot - I LOVE IT! :-) Can I join him now?

What a fantastic shot of the spray in the background and a child shielding his eyes. Excellent description. Reminds me of my years living near Boston. In the summer when coming into Bean Town, if the heat was oppressive crowds would enter local fountains and the law would turn their backs. "Better to let them cool in the fountain than recover from heat stroke in the ER." one cop said.
Here is an entry about summer... not wothy of the photo challenge but come on over and check it out if you could? Thanks.

I thought of a fountain too! I knew just the one, but alas I didn't have the time to make it there so I chose something else.
