MORALS????????????

Yesterday I lost $11. Don't know how....could be in a variety of places. Either left in the money return slot at Walmart, or maybe just dropped on the way to the customer service counter. Heck, I could have even left it at my Mom's. Anyway, it's gone. I hate to loose money. I'd rather give it away than have it blow away.

Which leds me to this...Joe and loosing money. Should I write about it? Should I use some of the crazy stories of the situations that he finds himself in? I would love to and I always have great fun when I write about them to my girlfriend, Deb. He does not like it! And if the shoe were on the other foot, maybe I would feel the same way.

If I were to share some of these zany stories, I'm sure everybody would love it! I do not want to exploit him. (dang it!!!) I do not want to follow him around with a camera and a notebook. I already do with a camera (document for future use). I just don't think he could handle it, the notoriety or celebrity. You all have no idea the amount of material that he hands over to me freely every day...Just being Joe.

Darn my integrity!

I second that...Darn your integrity!!!!!!  Seriously, someone could write a book about all the weird things that I get MYSELF into!  And I would be fine with that!  Some are so "out there" they need to be shared!  I hope you reconsider your moral boundaries....!  JAE

You could always go the "Private Journal" route.  He'd never have to know..hehehe.  But that wouldn't really solve your moral dilemma, would it?  Lisa  :-]

You're a better woman than I am :) Hubbys are such good sources of material!

You have no idea how much you've piqued my curiousity.

Perhaps you could create an alter ego and write in the fiction genre.  If he reads your journal, I'm sure he'd figure it out.  But it may take some of the edge off if he realizes that his privacy is still intact.

Too bad he doesn't like it. Sounds like a good read. : )
Sorry about your 11 dollars. I feel the same. I would rather give it away than lose it.

I found $11 while walking recently......two 5's together, and later on a single....all at the side of the road during a 5 mile walk....so consider your money given away, to me!  LOL ;-)

LoL.. first, sorry you lost the $$.  All you can do is hope that someone who really needed it at the time found it.  That always makes it easier for me to swallow.  Money never really disappears, someone always finds it and puts it to good use.  As to Joe - ROFL!  You have no idea how many times I've had to keep my mouth shut when I wanted to blab about some seriously hilarious thing Hel has done!  He's a constant source of comedy, that one.  :D

Integrity be damned! Just change his name and call it fiction.

What the heck is a "money return slot?" :-) ---Robbie

I try to keep references to real people - especially living loved ones - within a certain range. Silly things they do are okay to write about. That big fight we had about x probably isn't.

Does Joe actually read this? That's a factor, too. I'd probably mention John less often in Musings if I thought he was going to read my words. - Karen

When you got married it was "and two shall be one" so in essence you would really be writing about yourself right? ...at least that is my evil evil logic

I found a nickel today.  I know it isn't 11 bucks, but I am saving it.  I hope that makes you feel better!  Just remember what comes around goes around and probably someone needed it more than you did that day.  Mysterious ways.  It will come back to you.  best to ya!
