KRISSY'S SCAVENGER HUNT #8

THANKSGIVING 2004

Krissy asked for Thanksgiving pictures.  I had to wait until today as it is our custom to celebrate together as a family after Thanksgiving Day.  That way, no one has to choose between families etc.    I can not believe that I left out my Mom!!!! I went throught all the photos and she was only in one, which was too blurry to use!  And one of my brothers and his wife are also missing!  Horrors!  I thought I caught everyone on digital.

Bridget and S. were unable to be with us, so they are included from Friday night outing in Louisville we attended called Light Up Louisville.  Another brother is in NYC.  He will be home for Christmas. And my step daughter is with her mother in another state.  We miss her.   Otherwise, there we are!  My fathers sister, all my brother(s) and sisters, SIL and BIL's....nephews and two nieces and Zorro.  One nephew took a spill on the ice learning how to skate. (really, someone should turn my sister in, lol).

This is what I am most thankful for.  Everyone I love in one room, eating way too much and laughing at my mother inviting over the parish priest then offering him dessert....""Father, would you like a slice of 'Better than sex' cake?"

 Hilarious.

And my father having another Thanksgiving among us. That alone is what I am most thankful for.

This is Krissy's link......I still can not figure out how to link without the entire line (sigh) .

Magnificent entry. Exactly HOW did you get all those photos put together? Scanner or what. I am soooo jealous of technologically savvy folks like you. Hey that's another thing you should be thankful for... that you are not a computer klutz like me! LOL

Thanks for not letting me the last one to make a late entry. Yours was well worth the wait. TY for sharing. Blessings and good vibes.

Here's my entry...

Great pictures! and everyone looks so happy...

We didn't go to Light Up Louisville...I saw it on TV briefly, but D wouldn't allow us to watch it because the Cats were too busy blowing out that team they played Friday night, and he wanted to watch that instead. :)  I love how beautiful downtown looks...

Mary, looks like you had a terrific time!  Your family looks fun and happy.  Zorro looks cute!  Hope to hear about your family's great time for Christmas too!   (hyperlink - Copy the address with "ctrl c"  then when you are typing, highlight the text that you would like to use for the link, in this case, I am guessing "Krissy," then you click on the "world" button [next to the camera] and insert the address that you have copied.  You should get your result.  Hope this helps, Cya, Kris

Great entry!  What a great idea to have your family day after the actual holiday so that no one has to miss it!  I love it.  This year was the hardest for me because people expected us to be with them, in two different towns, more than 100 miles apart.  Impossible.  So we split up, my guy and I, each spending the holiday with our own families.  I never want to do that again!!!
Again, a great entry and looks like you have lots to be thankful for!

Sounds lovely. Better than sex cake. Oh my. Did the priest ask for the recipe so he could make it back at the parish? ;-)

LOL! at your mother's offering. Hmm...would a priest know if a cake was better than sex? Maybe it's a moot point. ;-) ---Robbie
