Count Down

In one week Joe and I will be flying to Miami!  Hurray!  We will be going on a five day four night cruise on the Royal Caribbean Cruise Line.  We went last year (sounds so funny to call 2003 last year ) on the same cruise.  I liked it a lot because you were always somewhere rather than "at sea".  The above picture is from an island called Coco Cay that the RCCL owns.  You lay around all day and snorkel, drink, sunbath, drink, eat, drink, walk to get a drink...you get the idea.

I love the colors of the Bahamas.  I would love to paint our house the fun colors of the islands, but I think there must be some law in Kentucky that says you can't.

I am getting excited.

I went to the Lexington Community College and paid my admission fee.  I will be able to sign up for classes on line on the 6th of January.  I think I will begin with an easy 100 level for computer design.  I'm excited about that too, though the class will begin the week I'm gone.  Guess that is the best class to miss, if you have to miss one.

I know you are going to have a BLAST! You are right about color - the colors of the caribbean are breathtaking - especially against that blue, BLUE water. Our last trip down, I FINALLY learned to scuba. Talk about color - I was knocked out!

RE your class: Just make sure the first class isn't mandatory. I worked for a community college for a time, and some of the classes are set up that way. But *duh* you're a college grad...you probably had that figured out! Have fun on your cruise. It's FREEZING here in Oregon (rather unusual) and I'll be thinking of you! Lisa :-]

You're so lucky!!!! I used to live in Florida and the colors of alot of the homes there took some getting used to--but when I did, I loved the pastels and bright colors. Everything was so cheerful there.

Wow...how envious I am. Miami in January! As I sit here looking out at 8 inches of snow and gray skies! Drink a daiquiri for me!

I'm sure you'll have a wonderful time! It looks so beautiful. I'd paint my house like those if everyone else on my block did too. We'd look so bright and wild the whole town would follow (i wish). Please bring back lots of pics.

Wow, a Caribbean Cruise sounds great. I might go sometime this year too, keeping my fingers crossed.

The community college class sounds interesting, too. You are certainly living some exciting times, girl!
