FETISH?

YOU THINK YOU KNOW SOMEONE AND THEN....

I had the greatest weekend! So many things happened that I am going to get at least three entries out of it! I TOLD Joe that I was going to blog about our Friday night escapade and he did not object...so I took that as a consent!

I spent a lot of time with my lovely daughter Bridget. We went to Impellizzeri's Pizza on Bardstown Rd in Louisville. We were a long time waiting on our dinner and a pizza to go ( the price you pay for going to a 15 table five star pizza joint).  I found out my daughter has a pen fetish!

Take a look at all the pens she pulled out of her purse! I kid you not! Half of the space in her purse was taken up with her obsession! The family at the table next to ours could not get over it either!

Aren't her teeth beautiful! ($5,000 dollars spent well! )

Yes, you never know when you might need a yellow Sharpie! LOL Sharpies are the best, my daughter and I both love them, especially since Walgreens started selling them separately...

Beautiful teeth...beautiful girl!  I cannot believe all those pens were in her purse!  I am thinking there may be a better word for this than "fettish"!  JAE

She's not the only one with a pen fetish.  My husband usually has about 10 pens on him any time -- any color you want, any kind of tip, any kind of ink.  Great picture, she is so pretty.

Pens are great. boy everyday I look for a pen. I buy like 3 packs a month and they disappear. She's a beauty!

Good Lord!  Does she carry a purse, or a suitcase?  At this rate, by the time she's my mother's age, she'll need a garage just to hold her pens (my 82-year-old mother has a pen fetish, too!)  Lisa  :-]

Beautiful teeth for a beautiful face that glows with her mother's grace.

Bridget is beautiful, takes after her Mom!  I like collecting pens, too, which seem to disappear and sometimes I just give them away to family.  The scented ones, that smell like peaches, lavender, etc that I bought a couple of years ago at a card shoppe are some of my favorites.

Best wishes,
Debi

OMG.. I'm so ashamed.  I probably have that many pens in MY purse.  LOL  I think the reason I stared with the pen obsession is because I kept getting stuck in situations when I needed a pen and couldn't find one.  So I started hoarding them.  She's not crazy, momma... she's practical and wise.  Let that girl alone with her pens.  tehehe... and she's got gorgeous teeth!

Hope you both enjoyed your pizza and your time together!  Cute entry!  Love the pens!!!

OMG, she has a few pens there! I thought I was bad, cuz I often find about 6 or so in my purse and when I don't have any, I FREAK!

Your daughter not only has a beautiful smile, she is simply BEAUTIFUL or stunning might be more the right word.

Oh, don't I hear you on the beautiful teeth!  Your DD's purse looks like my backpack. Everyone always knows they can borrow a pencil or pen from me.

She looks like a million!  (actually she looks a bit like my niece Nikki LOL).  Nothin wrong with collecting pens....I am sure I have at least 20 in my car.

Is this your daughter that is 24???  She looks so young!  She is beautiful and that totally cracked me up about the pens!  I noticed the sharpies first, cuz my kids love those.  And yes, she does have beautiful teeth!  Pamela

My daughter who also has $5000 teeth went through a pencil thing, then an eraser thing.  We spent hundreds of dollars at San Rio through out her growing years.

Beautiful daughter!

Was the pizza worth it?

Ok, I confess, I too have a pen fetish.  I believe there is a pen for every writing occasion.  And of course, on certain days, certain pens just don't feel right in the hand.  On other days, a particular penpoint may scratch across the paper, which of course is not conducive to good writing.  LOL  Well... I think you get the idea of the reasoning behind us pen addicts.  Oh, and yes, your daughters teeth are beautiful.  I would say your money was well spent.  Take care.
