PHOTO FRIDAY - BEST OF 2004

"Tell the world which photo is your very best from 2004.  It can be one already published on your site, and it's perfectly alright if it's one you've already submitted to Photo Friday in a previous Challenge."

I was blown away when I saw this sunrise in October.  Everytime I see the picture it takes me back to that breathtaking morning!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Often, the best pictures are merely a quick snapshot of God's handiwork.  No creative tweaking required.   How can you improve on perfection?  Lisa  :-]

Mary, It is hate to pick, but this one is also my favorite. I know the area and I know the beauty. It is a reminder of all things GOOD in nature. Anne

Gorgeous photo!  I'd imagine it'd be difficult to choose just one of your photos for a best-of entry.  But you seem to have captured it.  Funny when I was looking at it (mesmerized for a few moments) I saw it as a sunSET.  It took on a whole new meaning as I read sunRISE.  Equally beautiful.  Just different perspective.  Suddenly I felt that early morning chill of fall.  I could see my breath.  And that morning stillness.  Beautiful.

Happy New Year Mary! xo

I have a sunset photo like this, but I think yours is way better... a sky on fire.  So beautiful.  Happy New Year, Alpha!!  :D

Mary...I'm sorry I've been absent a while, but what a glorious photo to come back to!  What a stunning way to start the day!  Hope all is well with you!

That is a lovely photo, though I'm sure what you saw was even more breathtaking.  Isn't it funny how a slice of personal experience like this always brings us back in time like it was only yesterday?  I need to get me a digicam!  lol
