THESE ARE ARE A FEW OF MY FAVORITE THINGS

ONE TIME AT KINDERGARTEN........

I mentioned my storage space in a previous entry which propelled me to go on a visit. The idea was to take some items and leave them there.

What I ended up doing was to drag a huge box of photographs home with me. As I was beginning the delicious task of digging through them I immediately laid my hands on this gem

Bridget's first day at school. She is on the right. Two buddies from the day care are to the left.

New dress for first day at school.........$25

New tennis shoes................................$15

Picture from poloroid camera (circa 1985).............Priceless.

Isn't that funny...I was going through old pictures yesterday, too.  And thinking, on a rainy, snowy cold, nasty day, that I would love to just crawl inside some of my favorites.  Wouldn't it be wonderful if we could?  Lisa  :-]

It's a good idea to get your old pics scanned so they will stay priceless!

On the threshold of that big step!  How the personalities shine--the quiet self-assurance of your daughter, the coy tilt of the middle head, and the extroverted clown on the end.  My daughter's first day of kindergarten was in l987.  I recently ran into my Brownie co-leader and I just loved hearing what quite of few of the girls we had lost track of are doing now.  Wonder what & who the girls in that photo are now?  What has that bursting potential become?  There's nothing like a gaggle of little girls.

PRICELESS IS THE RIGHT TERM... photos are like a moment frozen in time ...
You can ponder on all the things, good & bad, that happened after those smiles in an old photo.  I'm enjoying your dispaly of old photos.

pictures are my favorite things too. I have a box that I will take with me if I ever have to evacuate. I 'll just have to leave out blankets of toiletries, memories can't be replaced.
